Frequently asked questions
- Why should i buy WiperJet spray wiper blade system?
Regular washing fluid sprinklers often overspray, delivering washing fluid on the roof of the car and sometimes even all the way over the roof.
Regular washing fluid sprinklers also often underspray, delivering the biggest portion of the washing fluid only on the bottom part of the windshield.
In both cases the use of washing fluid is not very efficient. Often you have to spray multiple times in order to clean the windshield.
WiperJet spray wiper blades deliver the washing fluid directly to the windshield and distribute it evenly across the surface. There is no overspray or underspray, the washing fluid is delivered precicely where it needs to be. As a result, you will require less washing fluid to clean the windshield leading to fewer washing fluid refills.
Also it looks cool :) - Fiat had this in 1993, Renault had this in 1991, Peugeot had this in 1986 so how is this new?
Perhaps they did. The WiperJet innovation is that they fit not only Fiat, Renault or Peugeot. WiperJet is designed so that anyone can have spray wiper blade system on their car, no matter the make, model or year. - "My Car" already has it. How is this new?
Then what are you doing here? :) The benefit of WiperJet is that any car, especially older ones, can retrofit their old windshield wipers to have spray wiper blade system. - What will happen in the winter?
There is a winter washing fluid for a reason. Winter washing fluid doesn't freeze. If the holes on the wiper blades themselves freeze over, spray some de-icer over them. If they consistently clog and freeze over, it is very easy to reconnect your standard sprinklers back. - The principle of such wipers is constant monitoring of the road. Your wipers spray all over the windshield for a long time, which is even more dangerous than the regular system.
If you saw our videos you can obviously see that it takes a fraction of a second to wipe the fluid off the windshield. Plus WiperJet streaks do not obstruct vision as much as the spray mist from the regular sprinklers.
From our experience regular systems are more dangerous, because with old systems we often had to hold spray button for a long time in order to completely clean the windshield and the spray completely blocked the view. - Is WiperJet compatible with heated washing fluid systems?
If your car has heated washing fluid sprinklers/nozzles then WiperJet system can fit your car. But obviously, since we are not using the sprinklers, the washing fluid will not be heated.
If your car has heated washing fluid hoses, then standard WiperJet accessories will not be enough. From our experience, our connector diameter is too narrow to fit the washing fluid heating cables through. However, if you really want to use WiperJet with heated washing fluid hose system, you will have to source bigger diameter hoses and connectors yourself.
